Andrew Scanlon on July 23rd, 2024:
Facebook page pictures indicate the organ has been gone for at least 10 years. Fate unknown.

Andrew Scanlon on July 10th, 2022:
This building from 1915 replaced a wooden on the same plot of land which burned in 1912. The earlier building housed the Stevens Organ that was at St. Christopher's Episcopal in Chatham, Cape Cod, MA.

Database Manager on November 6th, 2019:
Updated from online information from James R. Stettner. -- The organ was originally built for this congregation. In 1966, Lawrence Street Congregational merged with Trinity Congregational at Trinity's building to form Hope Congregational. The Lawrence Street building was sold to the Spanish Church of God (Iglesia de Dios Mission Board), The organ has not been in-use since that time. At the time I documented it on December 10, 1989, it was dirty and had some damaged and missing pipework but was mostly intact.
