Hello. Just a note that they are saying either 13,000 or more than 13,000 pipes now. And you state John Shaw 2008. He donated the antiphonal division that year. The organ was renamed the Hope-Jones/Shaw organ when it was redeficated after a huge restoration in 2023. It was made known that it was much at his expense and thousands and thousands of hours of work that we have the present instrument. My YouTube has the dedication as well as the announcement of restoration project and many other videos. User name hopejonesfan

When build in 1908, the auditorium sat 10,000; it now seats 6,000; the Echo/Gallery organ is 300 feet (91m) from the front organ.

Updated through online information from Neil Carlson. -- 7 ranks added winter of 2009-2010. 5 are from other organs, 2 are new. New total, 183 ranks.

Updated through online information from Paul Marchesano. -- A new Gallery division consisting of 15 ranks of pipes built by A.R. Schopp's Sons, Alliance, Ohio, was installed beginning in September 2007, located in the rear gallery of the auditorium, 300 feet from the main organ. The organ currently stands at 176 ranks, 10,823 pipes. It will be premiered on the centennial of the original dedication in a concert on July 3, 2008.
