Expanded by Kilgen to four divisions as of 1938 when it was expanded to three manuals, with 38 ranks and changed to electric action. -- information received online from Jeffrey White 2024-09-25
Updated through online information from John Igoe.
Updated through on-line information from James Grebe. -- There are 50 stops from 26 ranks and 1 set of percussion (25 notes) Chimes. On the console there is a harp stop tab though it was never installed in the organ at the time the chimes were. Evidently they were prepared for only. The organ is on 5.5" wind. It has 2 synthetic stops: 32' Open Diapason from 16' Open Diapason on the pPdal and 16' Bourdon on the Pedal. The 8' Oboe Syn on the Choir is derived from the 8' Viola (one of the unit ranks) and the 2-2/3' Flute in the Choir which is part of the 8' Clarabella in the Great and is another unit rank.
Updated through on-line information from James Grebe. -- There is a separate tremolo for the Choir and Swell organs. There are a total of 1,671 pipes. A Zimbelstern was added in 2007. The Choir and Great originally had expression shades but these were removed in the 1970s. Some of the pipework is from the earlier organ (Pfeffer). Some chests of the organ are of the unit type. The Chimes were added after 1930 and are called the Hanser Memorial Chimes
