This entry describes alterations to an existing organ.
Identified by Steve Bartley, using information found in Sun Paper May 4, 1875 pg4.
-- From the Sun Paper,..... The organ is of great power, 26feet in height, 18 feet in width, with 22 stops, some of which are new. It was built by Heilner and Schumacher, of Baltimore, and cost $3,500.
The later Casavant work included the pipes and case front of the organ, and included new chests, winding, console, and some new ranks.
