This entry represents the installation of a used organ. Identified from the Musique Orgues Quebec website:
This mechanical action instrument by Paul Ott, from Gottingën (Germany) was originally, in 1968, installed in the Foyer-Patro chapel.
In 1984, it was moved to the Cultural Center by Guilbault-Thérien, from St. Hyacinthe, where, over the years, it was seldom used and where its condition deteriorated.
In 2013, after restoration works were completed in the St. Ludger church, the instrument was moved in by Ateliers Bellavance, from St. Hughes, in the south side of the nave where it will be used as a chancel organ. At the same time, the instrument was partly revoiced by Jean-Sébastien Dufour, a former Casavant voicer.
