In 1970, the building was sold and became the Lodge Headquarters of the Toronto Theosophist Society (who are now housed at 109 Dupont Street). It was also heard that the Theosophists moved into the church in 1967, but 1970 seems the more accepted date.

At some point after the closing of the church, the organ was removed and put into storage. It was installed at St Isaac Jogues RC Church Pickering in 1987 when the church opened, complete and unaltered.
