Regarding materials used in constructing this organ: Most of the manual pipe work originated from two Pels instruments built in the early 1950’s (University Lutheran Church in Champaign, IL, and First Baptist Church of Cicero, IL). Three ranks came from Skinner organs: the Great 8' Trumpet was stamped EMS F-275, the Pedal Trombone was from EMS 417, and both the Swell triangular flute and the console originated from EMS 840. (All three Skinner organs had been previously broken up.) All of these materials were obtained through the Organ Clearing House.
