Updated through online information from Edward Odell. -- All persons mentioned regarding the removal (but for Meloni) were Odell employees. As such, the removal was a "company" operation.
Updated through online information from Anthony Meloni. -- Fred Boss and Peter Batchelder, who worked for Odell, removed the organ for the company and delivered it to the Odell shop on Morningside Ave. in Yonkers, New York in the late 1970s. In 1982, the organ was purchased by Anthony Meloni for approximately $1,200.00, along with many other items in the Odell shop tools, mandrells, voicing machine. Odell Opus 80 was restored by Anthony Meloni and sold to the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Manassas, Virginia, with a recommendation from Alan Laufman of the Organ Clearing House.
Removed to storage by Sherwood Organ Co., White Plains, NY, then sold through OCH to Reformed Presbyterian, Manassas, VA.
