This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified through online information from Andrew Henderson (December 28, 2024): From the Hamilton Gazette & General Advertiser (Hamilton, Ontario, December 2, 1852): "It is with pleasure we perceive by a Cincinnati paper, that our townsmen Messrs. Hagar & Vogt of Cannon Street have been been employed to erect an organ in the city of Tiffin, Ohio. During the month of October the organ was conveyed to its destination, and put up on Sunday the 24th of the same month, it pealed forth its melodious sound for the first time, in St. Joseph's Church. The organ is spoken of in the highest terms and the parties purchasing seemed well pleased with their instrument. It speaks well for the Messrs. Hagar & Vogt, when their fame has spread so far, as to induce the people of Ohio, to send to the city of Hamilton, for their organs."
