This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified through online information from Andrew Henderson (September 9, 2024): From A Centennial History of St. John's Church (1935): "It has 12 stops, is 9 feet wide, 7 feet deep and 15 feet high, cased in chestnut, with black walnut trimmings, and makes a fine appearance. Withal it has great power as well as sweetness of tone, and is a most desirable instrument. Its cost was about $1,100." The organ was taken in trade from the Buhl Organ Co. for the consideration of $300 when a new instrument was placed in the church in 1912.
