Bank Street Presbyterian Church was renamed Chalmers Presbyterian Church. The building was demolished in 1912 and a new church, now Dominion-Chalmers United Church, was built on O'Connor Street at Cooper Street.
According to the Ottawa Daily Citizen (May 28, 1887): "Extensive changes in the building have been made, not last among them is the re-construction of the organ which is now a remarkably fine instrument. The outer case is of ash, the pipes all of which are for use, being tastefully decorated in sage greens and other quiet tints."
