This instrument is: Not Extant and Not Playable in this location

Andy Rose on March 27th, 2022:

Tracker action was electrified somehow and a second-hand three-manual console (Op. 701 was only two manuals) was placed to the extreme right side of the chancel. It was allegedly quite difficult for the organist to hear the organ.

The new instrument by The Ross King Company was installed in 1987. Some pipework from the Pilcher was reused, including the Pedal 16' Subbass, Pedal 8'-4' Principal unit (old Swell Open Diapason), and the Swell 16' Gedeckt.

Jim Stettner on February 19th, 2022:

This entry represents the moving and reinstallation of an existing organ to a new edifice of the same congregation. The Pilcher was replaced in 1987 by a new Ross King instrument.
