Jim Stettner on December 29th, 2021:
Updated through onlne information from Ian Mason. -- With assistance from Ron Dossenbach, organist and organbuilder of Windsor, Ontario, I was able to determine that the Wurlitzer organ Opus 1242 had nothing to do with the Wurlitzer organ installed in the Knickerbocker Theatre in Detroit, Michigan as stated by Jim Casterson in his article, "The St. Clare's Church Wurlitzer". https://journals.shareok.org/theatreorgan/issue/view/127 (pgs. 21-26). Instead, Wurlitzer Opus 1242 Style E was originally installed in the Van Croix Theatre of Titusville, Florida in 1926. This is documented in the Theatreorgans.com database.

Ian Mason on December 28th, 2021:
The organ was re-possessed by the company from a movie theatre (reputedly the Knickerbocker Theatre in Detroit, Michigan) and was sold to and installed by the Wurlitzer Co. in St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church of Windsor, Ontario. This is documented in the article by Jim Casterson entitled, "The St. Clare's Church Wurlitzer," in "Theatre Organ," July-August 1984, pgs. 21-26.
