Paul R. Marchesano on September 24th, 2021:
The pipe organ at St. Charles was put together by Tim Smith, organ builder from Portageville NY. He buys old or unwanted pipe organs and then puts together a "new" organ. We know him from when we played concerts at the summer series held in the chapel in Portageville. Some of the pipes are from a church in Jamestown, NY, some from a Wicks organ, and some from a Casavant organ. It was installed in June 2021, and there is still a little more work to be done. It is 8 ranks plus a Zimbelstern! -- Leah Trent, organist and harpist of the church
