Updated through online information from Gray Mckinnon [January 17, 2026]: This organ was removed in 2025 and replaced with a Walker digital. Organ was severely damaged in the 2024 hurricane Helene. The pipes and main console (not sure about the balcony console) were removed by George Miller. The organ was honestly a mess for many years and was a very poor installation - basically tone trapped. The choir division was never completed. It had several ranks that hadn’t spoken in years. I learned on that organ and I’m local to the town.
Identified through online information from Eddie Huss. -- This was additions to the existing Bassett-Skinner organ which had been installed in 1960 after Carl Bassett relocated the business to Oakland, Florida from Reading, Massachusetts.
