Database Manager on March 10th, 2018:

"The Wurlitzer at South Pasadena High School was donated to Los Angeles Theatre Organ Society in the early 90s by Peter Crotty. This instrument began life as a Style 216, a recreation of the 2 Manual 10 rank Wurlitzer pipe organ in the nearby Rialto Theatre made famous by the legendary George Wright. The organ has been expanded to a 3 manual 17 rank organ with MIDI. The addition of the electronics makes the organ more attractive to the students. The three manual console was moved from the Pasadena City College when a four manual console for that instrument was obtained." - Los Angeles Theatre Organ Society website
