This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.

Identified by Steven Bartley, citing information from this publication: Alexandria Gazette. February 12, 1904, pg3.
Tubular action, Walnut case, 12 tall x 12 deep x 15 tall (with the organist projecting 3 feet)"The number of 16 and 8' stops being more than usual giving great solidity of tone" Both keyboards with overhanging keys. Little Giant water motor. Some type of combination action included.
In June 1929, lightning struck the church tower and a fired damaged the building. In the 1991 OHS Baltimore convention handbook, it is noted that, in 1929, the 2 manual Roosevelt organ, then installed in St. Mark's on the Hill, Pikesville MD, was installed in St Mary's, indicating that the Reiley organ was destroyed in the fire.
