Updated through online information from scot huntington. -- The Marion Baptist Church had C.E. Morey No. 208, 1904. In 1975, the Presbyterian and Baptist congregations merged, possibly using the Baptist building, and was re-christened the New Horizon Baptist Church. In 2015, there is no longer any church of this name or denomination in Marion, although there is a United Church which contains the façade at least, of an older organ.
Opus 287 was sold in 1991 to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Webster, N.Y., and with their construction of a new and larger sanctuary including a new organ in 2000, the organ was relocated through the Organ Clearing House to the Diamond Hill United Methodist Church, Cos Cob, Ct. and installed there by David Wallace & Co.
Formerly Presbyterian building. Presby. merged with Baptists. Organ moved to Good Shepherd Episcopal, Webster, NY in 1991.
