Database Manager on September 12th, 2016:

This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.
Identified by Steve Bartley, using information found in Lewis & Hitchcock service file from 1920s & 30s. & Sun Paper 3/27/1885 pg4.

The organ was installed in a chamber at the front of the church, left of the altar.
Over the ensuing years the organ has been electrified and some changes made. A 19th century Trumpet was added at some date. Local organist, Dale Corner, and one time Schantz rep added a Schantz built window box in front of the chancel opening, containing a principal chorus. He also added, in front of the nave opening, a used unit 8 Diapason rank for the pedal and a Trumpet en chamade on the vestibule roof.
