"[Parsons Pipe Organ Builders] retained much of the original pipework [remaining from the Bryant G. Parsons move of Tellers 749 to the building], expression shades, wind reservoirs and the two Tellers keyboards. Provided new were: the main Swell and Great slider and tone channel chests, fitted with electric actuators; the blower and internal wind regulation system; the console; the cantilevered divisions of quartered red oak; and the solid state switching and multi-level capture systems including transposer and MIDI preparations. Formerly, all of the pipework was concealed in the two chambers to the right and left of the altar." Source = an undated "Fairport United Methodist Church Pipe Organ Specifications" document.
"In 2007, a generous gift allowed us to purchase new keyboards for the organ. The mechanisms in the old Tellers keys had worn down and both manuals needed to be replaced." Source = church website.
