When I was organist at this church in 1976, an old-time sexton remembered the Johnson as a chambered installation opening off the right side of the shallow chancel. This chambered room has long been walled off.

Several ranks were incorporated by Holtkamp into the new 1939 instrument, and the remainder of the Johnson is presumed dispersed or discarded.
