The original Hinners console was discarded some time in the 1960's. For the restoration project, Buzard Pipe Organ Builders was able to acquire a 1929 Hinners console shell manufactured within approximately a year of the St. John's organ from a south-side Chicago Catholic church. St. John's was the home church for the Hinners family.
New console for an existing, restored organ. Identified by John Igoe, using information from this web site: http://www.pekintimes.com/article/20141122/NEWS/141129778/?Start=1.
