Instrument was installed at its original 3/10 specification in the Church of the Christian Crusade in 1966 and played by Jim Orcutt until his untimely death in 1968. The Concert Recordings album "Music in the Round" by Jim Orcutt was released in 1968. The Sooner State Chapter purchased the instrument in 1978 after the church closed and stored the instrument until it was installed in the Tulsa Technology Center Broken Arrow Campus in 1983. Since 1983, the instrument has been expanded to a 3/15 and the original pneumatic relay was replaced with a more convenient Z-Tronics solid state relay. Monthly programs are held by the Sooner State Chapter on the third Friday of each month (pending locations availability) and are free to the public. The instrument is also installed as a show piece and features ground level pipe chambers where tours are frequently given after programs.
Originally built for the Capitol Theatre, Steubenville, Ohio.
