Updated through online information from Rodney J. Weed. -- One of the things I liked about this small Wicks was that unlike the majority of Wicks organs this organ the pipes had very open toes and were on low wind pressure. There was minimal knicking on this organ and it had a nice little chiff, which I liked. It got even better sounding after I had most of the organ revoiced by Louis G. Monette of Sauk City, WI.
This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.
Identified by Rodney J. Weed, based on personal knowledge of the organ.
-- I was organist at Annunciation from the Summer of 1979 to Summer of 1984. This was a very nice little Wicks organ and different from the average Wicks because it was on low wind pressure with very open toed pipes and minimal knicking. During my time at Annunciation I had most of the organ re-voiced by Louis G. Monette of Sauk City, WI, author of Organ Tonal Finishing and Fine Tuning.
