-- In 1959 the Vottler-Hettche organ was rebuilt by E. J. Beilharz of Lima Pipe Organ Company of Elida, Ohio, for a cost of $8,745.00. During this rebuild two ranks were added, Prestant and Trompette, to the Swell division. This increased the total number of ranks to nine in the instrument. The console was electrified, rebuilt to AGO specifications and moved to the front of the choir loft. This work was partially funded with $1718.33 given by the ladies from profits earned from serving the Kiwanis Club. The dedicatory recital was played by Tom J. Amburn of Messiah Lutheran Church, Dayton, Ohio, on November 20, 1960.

When a new building was constructed in 1967 on the northwest edge of town the instrument was moved to that location and continues in use to the present.
