Database Manager on November 3rd, 2012:

Updated through online information from Rodney J. Weed. -- When I was organist the Swell 8' Viola D'Amour had already been removed and replaced with a poor 8' Trumpet, and the Viola D'Amour pipes had been used for a poor 4' octave on the Great. Sometime after I left a 2' principal was added to the great using the Great to Great 16' coupler tab for the stop. All three of these changes were done on the console by tape over the original console stop & coupler tabs. None of these changes were retained with the 2012 rebuild of this organ. When I played this instrument it was passable but in no way inspiring in any way.

Database Manager on November 2nd, 2012:

A new organ on the date of its original installation. Identified by Rodney J. Weed, based on personal knowledge of the organ.
-- It was completely rebuilt by J Swartz in 2011-2012 with additional new ranks and completely new console. Most of the Wangerin pipes that were existing in 2011 were used in the rebuild. I was the organist at this church from 1986 to 1993 and this was the organ that I played then. I will be adding pictures of the pipe chamber for the Wangerin organ as installed in 1928 and the 1928 Console.
