Bob Knight on June 19th, 2026:

This Robert Morton "Wonder" organ was from the Valencia Theatre, and was restored and installed in 2009 by W.N. Shoberg and Co. A number of construction details the other "Wonder" organs lack, including much more detailed console mouldings, make it appear this was the first Wonder Morton organ constructed. The organ is in regular use by the Balboa Theatre for their silent film series and accompanying other events such as graduations.

Database Manager on November 17th, 2011:

Identified through online information from William Dunklin. -- This is the so called "Wonder Morton" organ originally installed in the Loew's Valencia Theatre, Jamaica, Queens, New York, in 1929.
