Database Manager on January 5th, 2011:

Identified through online information from Joe O'Donnell. -- This was a reconfiguration and enlargement of the original Balcom & Vaughan installation, in conjunction with a complete remodeling of the church interior. Almost all pipework is now at the same level behind the new case front, so the pitch discrepancies inherent in the original placement have been eliminated. All original pipes and chests were retained and augmented with used B&V chests and new and recycled pipework. The polished zinc pipes in the center of the display are notes 3-20 of the Great 16' Bourdon (with stoppers). The remainder of the display is drawn from the Pedal 16/8' Principal and the Great 8' Principal. The columns and fascias of the case are of solid beech. The center column surrounds a lift mechanism for a projection screen. The console was retained unchanged save for the addition of two tabs - the solid state combination action had been upgraded to 32 memory levels in 1999.
