This instrument is: Extant and Playable in this location

Database Manager on November 2nd, 2012:

Identified through online information from G. Mark Caldwell. -- The original E.M.Skinner instrument was modified heavily in the 1960s by a local organbuilder, using a number of the original Skinner ranks. In 1995, this instrument was beginning to be undependable and the congregation elected to have McCrary Pipe Organs of Oklahoma City do a complete mechanical rebuild using many of the ranks from the rebuilt instrument. A number of new ranks to include several Walker Technical digital Pedal stops were added in the 1995-96 rebuild; several of the original Skinner ranks are still extant in the present organ. Presently 3 manuals, 5 divisions, about 53 ranks.
