Database Manager on August 27th, 2009:
Identified through information in *List of More than 5200 Moller Pipe Organs* (Hagerstown, Maryland. M. P. Moller, 1928).

Database Manager on February 19th, 2019:
Updated by James Coats, listing conversations with this person as the source of the information: McDowell County Historical Society. This pipe organ was acquired through the efforts of church member Sarah Gilkey and the women of the Methodist Church, Marion. It was purchased with the aid of a grant from the Andrew Carnegie Foundation and was installed in the church in 1913. This congregation relocated to a new location on Robert Street in 1960, and this building was sold to the First Baptist Church of Marion. Sadly, this beautiful instrument burned along with the church in 1975.
