Identified through on-line information from Stephen Hall. -- Previous organ was built in 1856 for First Presbyterian Nashville (later, becoming Downtown Presbyterian), moved to Gallatin church in 1914, and enlarged in 1949 by Wicks. Organ damaged by fire on Dec. 24, 2004. B Rule & Co. built a new instrument retaining the historic facade and roughly 100 pipes. (information from article in "Tennessean" dated Oct. 4, 2008).
