After 126 years of ministry the church located at 2201 Reid Ave. is closing its doors on June 30, 2021. June 27 will be the last Sunday service at the location.
The church became a United Methodist congregation when the denominations merged in 1968. At some point the organ was removed and installed in the residence of Robert Stilgenbauer Sr. The organ was subsequently dismantled and parts were re-used in a newly assembled instrument in St. Peters, Lorain.
Identified by James R. Stettner through information from the Estey Opus List, published in The Boston Organ Club newsletter, 1973-1979.
Related Instrument Entries: Joe Sechkar and Jeremy Lumby (2002)
