The church is in the property of the City of Charlotte. The building remains inaccessible due to the location of it within the parameters of the airport.


Database Manager on May 4th, 2009:

Updated through on-line information from David Ritch. -- This organ is the first mechanical action organ of builder Ralph Blakely. Originally installed in 1978, the organ underwent renovation in 1996 at which time the action was modified to electric action with pull-downs and a detached, movable console was installed.

Ded 4. Dec 1978. Oak and ash case with speaking pipes of pewter and tin. 3rd manual (E0-c2 plays a Cornet V).
