Identified through on-line information from Floyd Higgins. -- The Steere & Turner was heavily rebuilt in 1974 by Henderson and Wilson and provided with a new facade using old pipes. Swell box was eliminated and the stoplist was a hybrid instrument in a neo-Germanic/French Classic style, bristling with mixtures. The organ was a favorite of Anthony Newman who recorded the complete works of Bach on it on the Vox label. Newman's wife Mary Jane taught music at the school for a few years. Around the year 2001, the school solicited proposals to rebuild the organ, but in the end, a new electronic organ was installed. Only the 1974 facade was retained.
