Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This was an essentially new organ on new E-M chests retaining some of the 1904 Kimball pipes. The orig. Sw. 8' Stopped Diapason was retained. The orig. Gt. 8' Dulciana was revoiced as an Unda Maris celeste against the new Sw. Gemshorn. The original Pedal 16' Bourdon was retained on its original, electrified chests. The choir loft was remodeled before the organ was installed. A wooden screen with grille cloth replaced the original facade pipes. In 1997, during a major sanctuary remodeling, the console was made moveable. The 1963 Schoenstein console had a Klann comb. action, but pneumatic couplers. Balcom and Vaughan converted the console couplers to Peterson solid state. No tonal changes were made. But the original Sforzando reversible switch was rendered inoperable during the B and V console work. The toe stud remains.
