Daniel Gauger on August 16th, 2025:
Fisk Opus 75 (1977) received a significant restoration project in the Summer of 2025 by the Fisk Organ Company that included the following work: Great 4' Open Flute replaced the original 4' Clarion Pedal 16' Basson (conical) replaced the original 16' Bassoon (cylindrical) New Fisk-style pedalboard (replaced original concave-radiating pedalboard) New Swell Shades (more thicker and effective than previous shades) Bellows re-leathered Stop knobs re-engraved (original engravings were mostly disintegrated before restoration) Revoicing of many of the flue ranks Overall, the 2025 restoration was basically an updating of the instrument. While much of the instrument remains, the new stops, pedalboard, swell shades, and flue revoicing have made the instrument more flexible for its academic performance duties.
