Database Manager on March 5th, 2009:
Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- According David Lewis, church records indicate the organ arrived on October 4, 1904. Originally hand-pumped, it later received a water motor and finally an electric blower. Both were left behind when the 1887 building was razed in 1978. The organ was refurbished in the 1930s and 1950s when cracks developed in the chests. The organ was relocated to the new church by Charles McManis in 1978-79 and received additional restorative repairs at that time.
