Jeff Scofield on April 21st, 2022:
The chapel and organ were badly damaged by Hurricane Hugo in September 1989; the console was removed for storage at an on-campus warehouse, where the console photo was taken.

Updated by Eugene R Walter, who has heard or played the organ. Additionally, Eugene R Walter listed this website as a source of information: http://www.citadel.edu/root/chapel-organ-project.<br>\r\nPer information on the Citadel Chapel website and Cornell Zimmer\'s website, Zimmer has added a new polished copper all-pipe Clarion Militaire mounted en chamade under the large stained glass window at the west end of the church. According to the Chapel website Zimmer has also installed the rebuilt Choir division in the North chamber and is anticipating the re-installation of the Great and much of the Pedal in that same chamber. See the Zimmer website for photos of the console and en Chamade pipework, as well as the new stoplist.
