Identified through information in the Pilcher factory ledgers, a handwritten list of organs and notes on the firm's history, and an emended copy of a list of organs from a catalog c. 1870. For more information see the document referenced below.
In Nov. 1853 the congregation merged with the Pine Street Presbyterian under the Pine Street name, and their property was sold in 1854. The organ was sold to St. Laurence O'Toole R. C., St. Louis, MO. (The congregation later became Grand Ave. Pres. and still later resumed the Westminster name.)
In the first lists, this organ was originally assigned number 4.
