Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The Chancel division was fully portable, and it was playable from its own 2 manuals with 11 speaking stops. The manuals folded-down to allow easy passage through a standard doorway, and it was often rolled into an adjacent chapel through the door on the right at the front of the Cathedral. When located in this chapel, it was disconnected from the main gallery organ and unplayable from the main 4-man. console.

Database Manager on April 5th, 2005:
The original installation included a chancel organ playable from the gallery console. The Chancel organ was removed, but the gallery console still includes stops for it.
