This instrument is indeed extant and playable.
The Lutheran congregation met here "well into the 18th century". It has been occupied by an Episcopal congregation since 1791.
Old Swedes Church’s current organ (located in the gallery) was a donation by the Austin Organ Company of Hartford, Connecticut. After a fire in 1964 badly damaged the previous organ, the Austin Company donated this model to aid in the Church’s $100,000 restoration efforts. This organ remains a central part of the interior and fills the entire structure with music. -- fromHistoric Old Swedes Instagram
